The Detroit Speed quick ratio steering gearbox provides modern late model steering performance similar to a rack & pinon with easy bolt-in installation. This steering box can replace the GM/Delphi 800 series or GM/Delphi 600 series power steering box. This steering box has a raw unpainted finish. Upgrade the steering on the following vehicles: • 1967-1992 GM F-Body (Camaro/Firebird) • 1964-1981 GM A-Body (Chevelle, El Camino, Skylark, Tempest, Cutlass, LeMans, etc.) • 1968-1979 GM X-Body (Nova, Ventura, Omega, Apollo) • 1978-1988 GM G-Body (Monte Carlo, El Camino, Regal, Bonneville, Grand Prix, etc.) • 1982-2004 S10/S15/Sonoma

- New O-ring style power steering hoses are needed – PN 091202DS recommended
- Maximum Operated Pressure = 1500 psi.
- Late model performance car feel
- Improved steering feel due to low friction gear design
- Recommended Pump Flow = 2.48 GPM
- All new steering gear unit, not rebuilt
- Original power pitman arm may be used – or PN 092301DS (for 1967-1969 Camaro & 1968-1972 Nova).
- Quick Ratio 12.7:1 (3 turns lock-to-lock) – desirable quick ratio that is hard to find in a stock OEM steering box
- A 3/4-inch x 30-spline (3-1/4"OD) rag joint may be required with this steering box and is available through Detroit Speed – PN 090205DS
- “Detroit Tuned” precision rack and pinion valve technology
- Fits 1982-92 Camaro/Firebird with no modification to the steering box or the frame.
- Steering Gear Pressure and Return Fittings not included – PN 090206LDS (pressure) & 090206SDS (return) recommended
- A 3/4-inch x 30-spline rag joint is required with this steering box and is available through Detroit Speed - PN 090205DS
