Over time all internal engine wear surfaces become worn. This is true for crankshaft journals, connecting rods, camshaft lobes, piston rings, bearings, etc. When rebuilding a worn out engine you'll need to replace them all in order to regain the engine's original performance. This replacement standard intake valve fits 87-95 Wrangler YJ and 97-98 Wrangler TJ models with either 2.5 or 4.0 liter engines. Sold individually- use one per cylinder. Replaces OE 33003515
