Upgrade the rear brakes on your 1968-1981 Camaro / Firebird with 4-piston REKUDO JL8 rear disc brakes. This premium rear brake system can be used with the complete REKUDO suspension system for the GM 2nd Gen F-Body (ideal for use in all high-performance applications). Set of (2) REKUDO Rear Cast Iron Caliper Adapters with Mounting Bolts - Fits Vehicles with Staggered Rear Shocks These caliper adapters must be used with the following parts: Rear Dust Shields: RK400-16 (pair) Rear Brake Rotors: RK400-07 (pair) REKUDO Rear Brake Calipers RK400-11, RK400-13, RK400-20, RK400-22, or Factory 1968-1982 Corvette C3 Style 4-Piston Rear Brake Calipers Factory GM 10-Bolt 8.2", 10-Bolt 8.5", or 12-Bolt Rear Axle (all axles with Staggered Rear Shocks) The 4-wheel disc brake upgrade (Corvette style 4-piston calipers for both front and rear) was offered on the 1968 Camaro as a "Heavy Duty Service" package sold through the parts counter at Chevrolet car dealers. In 1969, the 4-piston disc brakes could be ordered as a Regular Production Option (RPO) JL8 package on production vehicles. These high-end brakes were made available to support racing programs like the Sports Car Club of America® (SCCA), and Trans-Am® road racing series. This unique brake option is very rare and was only sold on about 200 production vehicles.
